Dine-N-Dash

This blog post is a little different than usual. I’m actually posting about something before it happens because it’s a big event and you can come too! If you’d like to check it out you can get tickets here!

Dine-N-Dash is basically like Taste of D.C. but instead of all the restaurants sending their food and chefs to one location, diners hop from restaurant to restaurant. You get to dine in 30 top restaurants starting in whichever restaurant you want and then traveling throughout Penn Quarter and 14th street. You check in, get a wristband, and then it’s unlimited food and drink. Each restaurant offers 5-8 dishes and 4 drinks. Plus, unlike other events I’ve been to, you don’t have to wait in line at each place since there are food stations and roaming waitstaff.

Lots of food

The best part? 10 of the 30 restaurants are in the D.C. Michelin Guide!! China Chilcano, Del Campo, Jaleo, Oyamel, Zaytinya, Doi Moi, Estadio, Ghibellina, Lupo Verde, and Proof are all participating!

Actually, the best part is that people with VIP tickets attend a pre- and after-party with Jose Andres!!! That’s not to mention Andrew Zimmerman and Ted Allen.

Jose

I’m so excited!!! If you see me there come say hi!
